FITTING YOUR EYE
-
The indications for medical contact lens fitting include visual improvement, pain relief and protection
-
Benefits are not limited to new patients. Those who have previously failed with lens wear or suffer suboptimal comfort or vision can often benefit from a renewed assessment and refitting
-
Multiple lens types may be tried during a fitting appointment to determine which lens best meets the needs of the individual
-
Following the fitting, patients can make an informed decision about whether they wish to proceed with ordering a lens
-
Please allow two hours for your fitting appointment. Further time may be required in some cases
-
Please bring any contact lenses you have to your appointment along with spectacles and any previous reports or letters related to your condition
